Read your way to the ballpark

The rules of the Read Your Way to the Ballpark game are simple. Download your game card. Choose your favorite books from your local library or select your favorite section of the Tampa Bay Times to read over the summer. As you read, track your hours by rounding the bases and writing down what you are reading on the game card.

Round the bases by reading a total of 24 hours this summer and receive two tickets to a Rays game!

All students in grades Prekindergarten through 12 can participate

Read around the bases — 24 hours total!

Read 3 hours to get from Home Plate to First Base

Read 5 more hours to get from First to Second Base

Read 7 more hours to get from Second to Third Base

Read 9 more hours to get from Third Base to Home Plate

In order to receive your ticket voucher for two (2) complimentary Rays Lower Reserved tickets email your completed Reading with the Rays game card to [email protected]

Major League Baseball, in line with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, has postponed the start of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
